Learning Program

Bionivid NGS / Microarray Data Analysis Training / Learning program is designed with the objective of "SHARING KNOWLEDGE".

We would like to enable researchers by sharing knowledge on the approaches for NGS / Microarray data analysis training which we have acquired over the years by analyzing hundreds of projects for diverse applications.

We enjoy training researchers on advanced NGS / Microarray data analysis which might enable filling the gap between data and interpretation which could result in sharing novel inventions, discoveries and knowledge through publications, patents, IP's and discoveries in a much lesser time than proposed.

We are very keen in empowering graduates and post-graduates (M.Sc, B.Tech, M.Tech) with application oriented genome informatics skills which is the need of the hour. The knowledge of such advanced technologies like Microarray and Next Generation Sequencing at graduation level will result in talents who are prepared to accept the challenge and also possess the potential to deliver at both academic and industry level without any additional training.

Present Genomics Scope

Today, with advancement in high throughput genomic technologies and advent of very sophisticated Next Generation Sequencing platforms, lots of avenues have opened up for Life-Science / Biotech researchers. Large scale experiments are planned for all possible applications in various research fields like Plant research, Animal research, Microbial Research and Personalized medicine.

Huge grants are released by government for research using high throughput genomic technologies. Many companies have established service-models for generating data using these sophisticated technologies. With increase in government funding and decreasing trend in cost per sample, there will be enormous increase in the amount of data generated in the coming few years.

Challenges

While with NGS technologies DNA data production is no longer a bottleneck. However, optimization and availability of appropriate methodologies and tools to analyze, visualize and interpret NGS data are still in their infancy and currently the biggest challenge. As per the market survey, data management / informatics / storage has been cited as the biggest hurdle to Expanding NGS Usage.
